Great park. Water is great. Campsites are good. Nice showers that are free. Some restrooms are old fashioned outhouses with a tap on the sink but there wasn't soap. Really really bright lights on sensors that could wake people up near the group camping sites.

Beautiful place, huge pine trees with lots to do! Different playgrounds and swings for the kids to play on. Pristine beaches to lay on and crystal clear gorgeous spring fed lake to swim in. Washroom facilities are updated, great trails to hike on, and lots of large camping spots to enjoy! We highly recommend this campground and we keep going back!

Beautiful surroundings and beach. Unfortunately the park facilities have not been kept up (items broken have remained that way for years), and more seem to be broken each year with no repair in site. This year parking outside the park was made illegal forcing extra vehicles inside the park itself causing city like congestion. New parking policy is an obvious cash grab. In general noise levels higher than it used to be. The park was nice and quiet. Now noise levels don't seem to be monitored nearly as much. Many stalls play loud music and the smell and sound of extra vehicles take away from the peacful surroundings. Staff are friendly, however the older staff seem to be gone and are replaced by much younger individuals that are more intetested in earning a pay cheque than providing a good camping experience. We have not missed a year at Blue Lake since the mid-ninetys. Next year we are re-evaluating our camping plans.
