  The owner of AML, awesome guide and all around great guy Julian promised my son he would catch his first Musky that week which I thought was a gutsy move. Later in the week he took us out Musky fishing for the day. Besides having a blast with Julian he got my son his first Musky, just as he had promised! We also learned so much about fishing from Julian and about keeping a positive attitude when going for the often elusive Musky! I feel a true friendship was forged that day with Julian and for that I am thankful.

  As a family we take at least one fishing trip a year. This was our first trip to canada. What an amazing time. My kids and Myself were welcomed to the Andy Myers Family immediately. The staff and the food were absolutely the best. I will Take this vacation again hopefully soon.

  On the last evening my son brought in a walleye he caught. He had never eaten a walleye and I had told him how delicious it was. The dockhand, Coop, took the fish at 9:30pm filleted it, started up the big deep fryer, battered it and cooked it for my son right away so he could try fresh walleye! That is just one example of how everyone at AML treats you.

  My youngest son was really excited at a chance to catch a Muskey. I mentioned this to Julian, and he took us out on his own boat to give us the best opportunity. Caught one!

  Julian, the owner, leads by example and did everything to ensure that me and my son had the best trip possible. That filtered down through the staff as they all had a genuine desire to make sure we were happy and that every expectation was met or exceeded.

  The cook and kitchen staff are amazing! They are very personable and became like having dinner with family. The food was delicious and the portions would fill up anyone! The lunches are amazing and always waiting in your boat when you finish breakfast and head out to fish.

  This is my 10th year going to AML and it only seems to be getting better and better. Julian and his staff are top notch and will do whatever it takes to make your trip special. They've become family. Add the trophy potential (and numbers) Eagle has to offer for walleye, bass, trout and muskie and I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

  Premier Fishing lodge in Northern Ontario. The fishing was unbelievable. The Guides have intimate knowledge of Eagle Lake. They can keep you on fish even on the toughest days. The guide staff share their knowledge of the lake and the best techniques to catch fish in a friendly manner. We caught Smallmouth,Walleyes, Northerns till our arms fell off. The boats are well equipped and offer a comfortable ride. All the staff at the lodge make you feel welcome and like family. The dock crew to the housekeeping and dinning room staff-all were very friendly. The accommodations are very comfortable and clean. I couldn't leave this review without mentioning the Food. WOW.....You never walked away from a meal hungry.

  The dock hands were nothing short of amazing. I love those guys - always there to great you on the dock when you come in. Always asking how you did and if you need anything.

  The cabins are beautiful - we were in cabin 7 which is right on the water. My son caught a huge smallmouth that weighed over 4 lbs. a few feet from our door on his second cast from shore. The cabins were cleaned every day.
