    We spent several vacations with our children while they were young and still under our roof. A few times with several of them as they left the nest. Our five kids are now married to amazing spouses and our youngest son suggested this year we take a family vacation at Stanleys and share those experiences with our now large family. We are excited about coming back and seeing the new cabins and enjoying the scenery and fishing. I wonder if the kids will jump off that cliff into the lake - I about died when I saw them do it when they were so little and so brave. Mom

    My favorite place in the world. After 18 years of enjoying Stanley's I continue to get excited counting down the days to my next trip. The fishing and accommodations are excellent. Our group especially enjoys the many portage lakes and opportunities to target all the different species, walleye, pike, muskie, lake trout, smallmouth, and white fish. But the best part about Stanley's are the people. From third generation Wisneski family to the guest arriving the first time, everyone is so nice and happy. Hard not to when you're in such a beautiful and special place.
